We built these heaters for a very specific, very annoying problem: trying to keep people warm in places where everything is damp. Think luxury changing rooms or wet zones. Usually, putting a heater in a room full of steam is a recipe for an electrical short, but we found a way to make it work. Most heaters just try to warm up the air. That takes forever. Ours use shortwave infrared radiation. Instead of fighting the air, they heat people and objects directly. It’s basically like stepping into a patch of sunlight on a cold day. The reason it feels instant is because of the shortwave spectrum. We use high-wattage quartz elements that send energy straight to the target at the speed of light. No waiting for a breeze to carry the heat. You turn it on, and you’re warm. Period. Now, let’s talk about the “waterproof” part. Changing areas are brutal. You’ve got steam, splashes, and constant humidity. To stop the units from frying, we seal the wiring and elements tight. We use powder-coated steel or corrosion-resistant alloys so the chassis doesn’t just rust away in a few months. We also use tempered glass and special quartz tubes. Why? Because if a cold splash of water hits a red-hot element, most glass would just shatter. Ours can take that thermal shock without breaking a sweat. Installing them is pretty straightforward—they fit into most standard table-top or wall mounts. But here is the thing: you have to get the positioning right. Because these heaters are so powerful, the surface temperature is intense. If you mount them too low, you’re going to burn someone. Too high, and you lose that “instant” warmth that makes them so great. It’s a bit of a balancing act.
