One trade-off to keep in mind: that 2500W output concentrates heat. Your oven’s cooling and airflow need to be sized to handle the added ambient load. Otherwise, the control loop will spend all its time chasing drift.
What It’s Made Of: Halogen, Quartz, and the R7s Choice
We use a halogen-filled quartz tube because it keeps the filament stable, even at high temperatures. The halogen chemistry reduces blackening, so the output stays consistent over the life of the lamp. And when you’re tuning a process to a tight temperature band, consistency matters.
